About Elle
Elle Incorporated was formed in May 2007 and offers the following services:
• Dance classes (Modern, Folk, Hip Hop, Latin and Dancehall)
• Choreography and dancers for theatrical productions, corporate events, music videos, television commercials, print advertising and live performances.
• Dancers for party hype;
Six (6) of the companies dancers have been touring with Machel Montano HD for the past year and have visited New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, London and several Caribbean islands. Another seven (7) of the Elle dancers started performing with Kes the Band this year and three other Elle dancers has also been performing and touring with Destra Garcia.

Andy Josiah Andy and Kelly have been dance partners for six years. In that time they performed and competed locally, regionally and internationally. Anika Marcelle Anika Marcelle has seventeen years cumulative experience in the performing arts as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She received her early dance training (Ballet) in Trinidad with Heather Alcazar and later on at the Praise Academy of Dance in Jamaica. In 2005 she completed training at the London Contemporary Dance School – The Place. While at The Place, Ms. Marcelle worked with and performed works from United Kingdom based Shobana Jeyasingh of the Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, Jean Abreu and the Siobhan Davies Dance Company. She has also performed in Jamaica, Trinidad, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. In 2009 Ms. Marcelle had the privilege of taking part in the first installment of the COCO Dance Festival in Trinidad. |

Candice HoWong Candice has been dancing since the age of four (4) and trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, hip hop and folk. After seventeen (17) years of training at the Thora Dumbell School of Dance, Candice danced professionally with the Trinity Dance Theatre (TDT) of Trinidad and Tobago, The Astor Johnson Repertory Dance Theatre and Elle Incorporated.

Daniel Pablo Philip Daniel “Pablo” Phillips is the founder of the popular dancehall group Trini Alliance. Pablo has been performing throughout Trinidad and Tobago at various parties and clubs. He has also been touring with the Machel Montano HD as a dancer to New York, Miami, the Bahamas, Barbados, St. Lucia, Dominica and Nevis. |

Delton Frank Delton started dancing in 1988 with the North West Laventille Cultural Movement, then in 1989 joined the La Chapelle Dance Company and the Caribbean School of Dancing where he studied Ballet, Modern and Jazz. Toronto was the stepping-stone of his career. There he attended the Toronto Dance Theatre (TDT) and Ballet Creole of Toronto as lead dancer and also as a member and choreographer of the Caribbean Folk Performers (CFP) of Toronto.
Delton won best male dancer of Trinidad and Tobago in 1996, 1997 and 1999 – 2000, at the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition. He received an Award from the Laventille Steelband Committee for “Outstanding Contribution in the field of Culture.” He was the choreographer for the opening ceremony of Carifesta 2006, as well as for the national production.
He has toured Europe, North America and Canada extensively as well as the Caribbean. Most recently Delton was involved in the Cricket World Cup closing ceremony in Barbados with the Callaloo Company, and has choreographed for “The Road Make to Walk” – a musical tribute to the late Lord Kitchener.

La Shaun Prescott La Shaun began training in modern dance in 1993 with the La Chapelle Dance Company and continued her training in ballet, modern and jazz at the Caribbean School of Dancing, as well as in hip hop and folk techniques. She has performed with the Joyfour Dance Company, the Metamorphosis Dance Company, the Astor Johnson Repertory Dance Theatre, and the Trinity Dance Theatre of Trinidad and Tobago (TDT). She holds an intermediate certificate in Classical Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance. She traveled to Los Angeles in July 2007 to participate in workshops at the World Hip Hop Championships and has served as a judge in the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition in 2008. She also served as a judge in the Synergy TV T&T No 1 Dance Crew this year. La Shaun has represented the country in Caracas, Maraicaibo on two occasions as well as for Carifesta in St. Kitts and has also toured New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Bahamas, Barbados, Nevis, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, Barbados and Jamaica with Machel Montano HD as Choreographer and Dancer. |

Arrianne Lanser Arrianne started ballet with Bentley Potter School of Dance for twelve years. She has done the ballet exams up to grade 8 and has performed with the school’s performing company for the last two years. She joined the B company in October 2009 |

Georgia Lanser Georgia has been dancing ballet with the Bentley Potter School of dance since the age of 4 and has passed all eight grade exams as well as the intermediate, advanced foundation, and advanced exams. I She has performed with the school’s performing company - the Cascade Festival Ballet. She has done dance courses in Texas and England, and has performed for the Summit of the Americas in April 2009. Georgia joined the B company in October 2009 |

Jenna Abraham Jenna has been doing promotions for the last ten years for Carib, Witco, Coca Cola, Unilever among other companies. She joined the Elle B company in October 2009. |

Kevon Charles Kevon has been dancing for the last 15 years. He has trained with Necessary Arts doing Hip Hop with Atiba Selmon and Modern with Gregory Breedy. He placed first in the Sound Stage Competition as well as the Caribbean Freestyling Competition in 2005.
In 2007, Kevon received a national Youth Award for dance and drama from the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
He has also performed with Synergy Soca Star Winner Umi Marcano in 2007. Kevon joined the B company in October 2009 |

Kimberly Paul Kimberly has dance training in modern with C. Attien, Hip Hop with Marlon Grant and Heather Henderson Gordon, as well as Dramatic Dancing with C. Slusher. She joined the Elle B company in October 2009 |

Stephanie Salloum Stephanie has been trained in tap dancing, ballet and modern. She has danced with the Bentley Potter School of Dance since 1996 and has completed the eight grades of the RAD syllabus. She is also a member of the school’s performing company – the Cascade Festival Ballet. She has also done intermediate latin dancing with the Rey del Ritmo School as well as gymnastics and aerobics at her school’s clubs. Stephanie joined the B company in October 2009 |

Brithany Dookie Brithany Dookie started as a gymnast at the age of seven years. She picked up cheer leading at North Eastern College. She performed with Umi Marcano for the Carnival season in 2006 and began dancing with the popular Trini Alliance Group in 2007. She has been performing at various events around Trinidad and Tobago since. In 2008, she performed in the Machel Montano AC3+3 concert and has been touring with the HD Band to Dominica, Barbados, Nevis, The Bahamas, St. Lucia, Jamaica and Miami.

Danielle Alexis Danielle commenced ballet and modern dancing with Carol La Chapelle Dance Company in 1989. She studied ballet for 3 months at the Caribbean School of Dance in 2004.
Some of her major performances include lead dancer in the musical titled ‘Carnival Messiah’, performances for the Trinidad and Tobago’s International Soca Monarch from 2001 – 2008, Annual COTT Music Awards 2007 and Trinidad and Tobago’s Dimanche Gras Show 2008
Danielle also toured with the La Chappelle Dance Co. to dance festivals in French Guiana and Venezuela in 2002 – 2003 and performed in Machel Montano’s concert in Madison Square Garden in 2007. She has also been dancing and touring with Destra Garcia since the Carnival season 2009.

Heidi Boucaud Heidi started dancing at 4 years old with Linda Pollard Lake and moved to Bentley Potter School of Dance at 6 years old. She sat major ballet exams through the Royal Academy of Dance. Heidi has been performing with the Cascade Festival Ballet since its inception. Her most recent performance was in 2008 “A Gala Night with the Cascade Festival Ballet.”
Heidi taught and danced with the Westside Dance and Gymnastics Academy in Portland, Oregan from 2004 for one year. She started dancing with Elle in 2007 and has been performing with the company since then. She danced in the Shurwayne Winchester music video “Make it Yours” as well as the television commercial for Associated Brands “Catch” |

Jade Campbell Jade started dancing at the age of 3 at the Caribbean School of Dance and has trained in ballet, modern, jazz, dancehall and hip hop techniques. She has been performing and touring with Machel Montano HD and has visited New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, The Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, Nevis and Jamaica. She has been the official stylist for the HD dancers since 2008.
Jade can be seen dancing in Machel Montano music videos for “Rolling/ Blazing the Trail”, “Antz”, “Defense – The Anthem” as well as Patrice Roberts “Looking Hot” and Farmer Nappy “Belly Dancer”.
This year, Jade served as a judge on the Synergy TV T&T's Best Dance Crew and has recently started her career as a radio personality on 96.1 WEFM |

Jameela Charles Jameela has performed professionally in folk and modern across the United States with Universoul Circus and toured with Trinidad and Tobago Show Boat to Japan. She spent several years with various dance companies in Trinidad including Footprints Diego Martin Folk Performers, Malick Folk Performers, Barataria Folk Performers, and Elle Incorporated. Past performances include Geraldine Conner’s “Carnival Messiah”, Limbo Dance Competitions, Best Village Competitions, International Soca Monarch Competitions and Concerts. |

Jameelah Toi Phillips Jameelah is Miss La Reine Rive 2004 and started her dance career with the Barataria Community Council in 1996. She has participated in several national events and has represented Trinidad and Tobago in Costa Rica, Canada, Carifesta 8 Suriname and Germany World Cup. Jameelah does caribbean folk dance, hip hop, modern and contemporary dance and is continuously exploring the world of dance. She holds a certificate in Dance and Dance education from UWI and is presently pursuing her Bachelors in Education at UTT. Jameelah has performed for many local artistes such as Nadia Batson, Kes, Bunji and Shurwayne Winchester to name a few. She has also choreographed and danced for international singer Minmi and has also toured with Kes the band. Jameelah has done choreography for the Barataria community council and many schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago. She has performed in locally staged productions such as Monument, A Mothers Nightmare, New Shoes & a Thin Line and the Golden Mascarade. She is also a member of the Astor Johnson Repertory Dance Theatre. |

Jillia Cato Jillia Cato started her Hip Hop training with Ian Levia at the age of fourteen. At eighteen she formed her own hip hop group called ‘Wetfire’ where she trained members and did choreography. They participated in various shows and placed in the top three in a popular talent search television program called Party Flava. She has been doing latin and aerobics competitively from 1998 to 2005 and has also done solo shows at graduations and for various companies since 2004.
In 2005 the group qualified to participate in the World Hip Hop Championships and flew to Los Angles to participate in the competition and workshops. She then taught hip hop in local schools including; St Augustine Girls High School, St Georges College and the Holistic Music School. Jillia also attended workshops at the World Hip Hop Championships 2007 in Los Angles and has been touring with Machel Montano HD.
Jillia was also part of the all female Hip Hop group CruElle which participated in the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas in July 2009.

Kathleen Baillie Kathy started out as an artistic gymnast, training locally and in the United States and Canada. She began her ballet training after returning home at the age of 16, and has been training and performing with the Bentley Potter School of Dance and the Cascade Festival Ballet since then.
In college, Kathy learned modern, jazz and contemporary techniques as a dancer, choreographer and president of the Yaledancers company in New Haven, Connecticut. She performed in twice-yearly shows as well as numerous on campus theatre and dance productions.

Katy Henderson Katy started dancing at the age of 5 years at the Bentley Potter School of Dance. She sat major ballet exams through Grade 8 and Advanced Foundation through the Royal Academy of Dance. Katy has been performing with the Cascade Festival Ballet since its inception in 1996. Her most recent performance was in 2008 “A Gala Night with the Cascade Festival Ballet.”
Katy first experienced modern, jazz and hip hop styles of dance with Yaledancers in Connecticut, US where she danced for four years. She started dancing with Elle in 2007 and has been performing with the company since then. |

Klase Gonzales Klase has been seen on television with his performances, as well as in many music videos for artists Nadia Batson, Ms. Alysha, KMC, Machel Montano and Iwer George, his stage performances and print media. Klase was the lead male model for the nation-wide Holiday Snacks campaign and is also one of the faces of City Styles and Free Zone – department storesklase throughout the country.

Kriston Trim Kriston started dancing at the age of twelve with Youth Quake Folk Performers. He continued his training in late 2004 with the Tobago Academy of the Performing Arts where he was taught modern and ballet by Charlene Harris and also learned West African dance technique in various dance workshops. He has also conducted classes at Youth Quake being one of the most experienced senior members.
Recent performances include “Voices of Africa” where he choreographed a piece called Africa done by the Youth Quake Folk Performers, “Camboulay” at Queens Hall with the Malick Folk Performers in 2008, as well as Andre Largen’s production called “Celebrating Dance.” Kriston co-choreographed Feast De Lajablse done by Quakettes, who emerged as winners of the Tobago Heritage Festival 2007. He has performed at events such as the International Soca Monarch, Dimanche Gras, Carifesta, National Sport Awards, Annual COTT Music Awards, the 2007 Limbo Competition, the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition, Folk Fiesta, as well as the Tobago Heritage Festival where he won best male dancer 2005 and 2008. Kriston placed first in the dance category with his own choreographed piece in Scott, Youth Explosion and also placed first in Sanfest in 2006. He received seven gold and two bronze medals at the World Championship of the Performing Arts in Hollywood. He has also visited Germany, Turkey, Grenada and Barbados. |

Kwasi Romero Kwasi started as a martial artist holding a 3rd degree brown belt in Shotokan Karate. He moved into the Capoeria and Mix Martial Arts styles which lead him to break dancing and hip hop with the Scientist Crew and later with the Group E-clipsed. Kwasi then started formal training in Modern, Latin, Ballroom & Caribbean Folk. He is also proficient in Dancehall style. In addition to being a member of Elle Incorporated, he is currently a member of the Noble Douglas Dance Company and freelances as a model and event planner.
Some of his choreographed work includes the locally shot Bollywood film “Dulha Mil Guya”, Piet Martinique Regatta Festival, The Birdie Story (Charlene Harris & Arlene Frank), as well as the opening of Club Space La Nouba. Past performances include the 3Canal shows ‘06, ‘07, ‘08 & ’09, presentations for Trini Revellers, D’Krewe & Brian Mc Farlane, the Annual COTT Music Awards 2007, Paradise Garage (Director Raymond Choo Kong) as well as I Love You Till Some One Better Comes Along (Director Debra Boucaud Mason & Richard Ragoobarsingh). Kwasi has worked with local artistes such as Machel Montano, Destra Garcia, Fay-Ann Lyons Alvarez, Shurwayne Winchester and Nadia Batson.
Kwasi teaches dance at the Chaguanas Secondary School as well as the Dance Fusion Dance Program. He also recently served as a Choreographer in the Bmobile Dance Off Competition |

Mandisa Foster Mandisa Foster began training with Linda Pollard Lake at the age of 4. She did Grades One - Advanced One modern exams with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and is currently pursing the Advanced Two syllabus.

Naila Edghill Naila started gymnastics at three years old and has won competitions both locally and internationally including National Gymnastics Champion in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000 as well as International Gymnastics Champion in 1997 and 1999. At the age of six she began ballet with Heather Henderson-Gordon but due to location switched teachers to join The La Chapelle Junior Company. When she was thirteen, Naila became the youngest member of the Senior Dance Company in 1997 and toured with them to Venezuela. She was the third place winner in the Twelve and Under competition in 1997 and also received the Community Youth Award for Excellence in dancein that year. She began choreographing her own material while at school for various functions and continues to do so teaching now with the La Chapelle Junior Company when time permits.
Past performances include the International Soca Monarch Competition (2000-Present), La Chapelle’s Dance Festival (2002-Present), Carnival Messiah 2003, Icons in Concert (accompanying Super Blue, Brother Resistance, Calypso Rose, and The Mighty Sparrow) – 2003, Dimanche Gras (with Heather Mc Intosh) 2004-2008, 2009, Annual COTT Music Awards 2007 and 2008, Carifesta 9 – 2006, as well as D Krewe Carnival Media and Band Launch – 2007,2008. Naila is part of the four member group of dancers who formed Spotlightz to enter the Bmobile Dance Off Competition in 2009

Nichol De Souza Nichol started dancing ballet at the Bentley Potter School of Dance at four years. She spent one year at this school and continued her training with Linda Pollard Lake from 6 years until she was 17 years of age. She started modern and hip hop styles at Elle Incorporated in April 2008.
Recent performances include Caribbean Airlines Customer Appreciation “A Night of Glitz and Glam” in 2008 as well as Island People “Clear” in 2008.

Segan Mora Segan started dancing with Ms. Nanco at 8 years of age and started ballroom in the after school program with Mrs. Mitchell in 1998. She spent two terms training under Linda Pollard Lake in 2005 and started modern with Elle Incorporated in 2007. She expanded her experience in dance by starting latin dancing with Carol and Kurt in 2007. In 2008, she also started the dancehall and hip hop classes at Elle Incorporated. |

Shaakir Griffith Shaakir started dancing at Belmont Government Primary School where he trained under Belmont Freetown Folk Performing Arts for the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition. He also studied drama under Ms. Bertrand at Mucurapo Senior Comprehensive School and also plays drums. He continued his dance training from 12 to 16 years of age in ballet, modern and jazz at the Caribbean School of Dance. He placed first in a dance competition called Fusion which won him a scholarship to learn hip hop under Xtreme Dance Academy.
He has performed in the International Soca Monarch Competition with Farmer Nappy and Olatunji Yearwood in 2008 and was also featured in Pelf’s music video for “Bumper”. Recent performances included 3 Canal’s “Shine”. Shaakir has taught hip hip and dancehall at Holy Name, Bishops Anstey, Servol and Bon Air High School. He has been teaching hip hop in Diego Martin Noth Secondary School since July 2008.
Shaakir is also a karate black belt having trained under Purple Dragon.

Tricia Dukhie Tricia began her dance training in ballet at the Campbell's Academy of Dance at the age of four. Four years later, she moved onto the Thora Dumbell School of Dance, continuing her training in ballet, and adding jazz, modern and contemporary dance to her repertoire. While there, she performed at many local events, such as the opening ceremony of Expo '94 and the Wayne Berkeley Carnival Queen show in 1999.
Tricia was a member of the Morgan State University Modern Dance Ensemble, performing at their annual Spring Concerts and Dance Festivals, as well as the Black College Dance Exchange in Florida in 2003, Tennessee in 2004, and Atlanta, Georgia in 2005.
In the spring of 2004, she was awarded the Dorothy P. Stanley Dance Scholarship to participate in the Horton Technique Summer Dance Intensive at Daytona State College. Later that year she performed with the Full Circle Dance Company at Artscape, one of the largest public arts festivals in the United States.

Zulema Charles Zulema began dancing with Caribbean School of dance at the age of five. At the school she pursued the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet syllabi from Grades one – Intermediate and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Modern and Tap Dancing syllabi from Grades one - Advanced Two. Zulema also has her Associates in Tap Dancing from the ISTD and taught Tap Dancing at the Tobago Academy for Performing Arts and 5,6,7,8 Dance Studios in San Fernando.

Halcyon Prescott Halcyon holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business. Her first degree was a BA in Literatures of English with a Minor in Theatre Arts.

La Shaun Prescott La Shaun began training in modern dance in 1993 with the La Chapelle Dance Company and continued her training in ballet, modern and jazz at the Caribbean School of Dancing, as well as in hip hop and folk techniques. She has performed with the Joyfour Dance Company, the Metamorphosis Dance Company, the Astor Johnson Repertory Dance Theatre, and the Trinity Dance Theatre of Trinidad and Tobago (TDT). She holds an intermediate certificate in Classical Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance. She traveled to Los Angeles in July 2007 to participate in workshops at the World Hip Hop Championships and has served as a judge in the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition in 2008. She also served as a judge in the Synergy TV T&T No 1 Dance Crew this year. La Shaun has represented the country in Caracas, Maraicaibo on two occasions as well as for Carifesta in St. Kitts and has also toured New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Bahamas, Barbados, Nevis, Dominica, St. Lucia, Grenada, Barbados and Jamaica with Machel Montano HD as Choreographer and Dancer. |

Anika Marcelle Anika Marcelle has seventeen years cumulative experience in the performing arts as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She received her early dance training (Ballet) in Trinidad with Heather Alcazar and later on at the Praise Academy of Dance in Jamaica. In 2005 she completed training at the London Contemporary Dance School – The Place. While at The Place, Ms. Marcelle worked with and performed works from United Kingdom based Shobana Jeyasingh of the Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, Jean Abreu and the Siobhan Davies Dance Company. She has also performed in Jamaica, Trinidad, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. Brithany Dookie Brithany Dookie started as a gymnast at the age of seven years. She picked up cheer leading at North Eastern College. She performed with Umi Marcano for the Carnival season in 2006 and began dancing with the popular Trini Alliance Group in 2007. She has been performing at various events around Trinidad and Tobago since. In 2008, she performed in the Machel Montano AC3+3 concert and has been touring with the HD Band to Dominica, Barbados, Nevis, The Bahamas, St. Lucia, Jamaica and Miami.

Delton Frank Delton started dancing in 1988 with the North West Laventille Cultural Movement, then in 1989 joined the La Chapelle Dance Company and the Caribbean School of Dancing where he studied Ballet, Modern and Jazz. Toronto was the stepping-stone of his career. There he attended the Toronto Dance Theatre (TDT) and Ballet Creole of Toronto as lead dancer and also as a member and choreographer of the Caribbean Folk Performers (CFP) of Toronto.
Delton won best male dancer of Trinidad and Tobago in 1996, 1997 and 1999 – 2000, at the Prime Minister’s Best Village Trophy Competition. He received an Award from the Laventille Steelband Committee for “Outstanding Contribution in the field of Culture.” He was the choreographer for the opening ceremony of Carifesta 2006, as well as for the national production.
He has toured Europe, North America and Canada extensively as well as the Caribbean. Most recently Delton was involved in the Cricket World Cup closing ceremony in Barbados with the Callaloo Company, and has choreographed for “The Road Make to Walk” – a musical tribute to the late Lord Kitchener.

Jameelah Toi Phillips Jameelah is Miss La Reine Rive 2004 and started her dance career with the Barataria Community Council in 1996. She has participated in several national events and has represented Trinidad and Tobago in Costa Rica, Canada, Carifesta 8 Suriname and Germany World Cup. Jameelah does caribbean folk dance, hip hop, modern and contemporary dance and is continuously exploring the world of dance. She holds a certificate in Dance and Dance education from UWI and is presently pursuing her Bachelors in Education at UTT. Jameelah has performed for many local artistes such as Nadia Batson, Kes, Bunji and Shurwayne Winchester to name a few. She has also choreographed and danced for international singer Minmi and has also toured with Kes the band. Jameelah has done choreography for the Barataria community council and many schools throughout Trinidad and Tobago. She has performed in locally staged productions such as Monument, A Mothers Nightmare, New Shoes & a Thin Line and the Golden Mascarade. She is also a member of the Astor Johnson Repertory Dance Theatre. |

Katy Henderson Katy started dancing at the age of 5 years at the Bentley Potter School of Dance. She sat major ballet exams through Grade 8 and Advanced Foundation through the Royal Academy of Dance. Katy has been performing with the Cascade Festival Ballet since its inception in 1996. Her most recent performance was in 2008 “A Gala Night with the Cascade Festival Ballet.”
Katy first experienced modern, jazz and hip hop styles of dance with Yaledancers in Connecticut, US where she danced for four years. She started dancing with Elle in 2007 and has been performing with the company since then. |
